Essential Job Functions
The Chicago office is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Specialist as part of the global Legal Recruiting and Development Department. The Attorney Recruiting Specialist will provide strategic support to the legal recruiting efforts of the Chicago office.
Summer Associate Program
•Plan, coordinate and attend events
•Track Summer Program budget
•Liaise between the Summer Associates and the attorneys and staff
•Coordinate rising 2L receptions
•Coordinate with all offices and register for on-campus interviews, job fairs and resume collect registrations
•Prepare on-campus materials for interviewers
•Prepare for callback meetings
•Coordinate offer dinners, pre-OCI receptions
•Manage law school and law student outreach including panels, receptions, mentoring programs, etc.
•Manage sponsorship requests
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills; be a team player; demonstrate strong client service; have the utmost respect for confidentiality and attention to detail; work independently and be able to follow up with minimal instructions; have the ability to prioritize work and work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment; interact with potential recruits, attorneys and staff at all levels of the Firm’s business; strong organizational skills, demonstrate initiative and work under pressure and deal with demanding deadlines. Individual must have the ability to work overtime.
Two-five years of experience, preferably in law firm or other professional services environment. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience with Symplicity and ViDesktop preferred.Strong Mircrosoft excel skills required.
